My 2005 Ford Excursion decided to die last saturday afternoon ( bad starter) on the hottest day of the summer so far...so there I was at Crosby's gas station in Mendon thinking I had a dead battery and of course no jumper cables ...so I approached a fella in a flat bed tow truck parked nearby eating a slice of pizza ...when I asked him for a jump, he not only immediately dropped his half eaten slice, but then spent the next 30 or so minutes not only helping me diagnose my problem ( bad starter---battery was fine!) and trying to get it to start, but he was also kind and decent enough to help another motorist also was stuck at Crosby's bcuz he had locked himself out of his running pick up truck! This guy was and is special ...he not only dropped everything to help me on a brutally hot day, but he somehow helped the other motorist get into his car and be able to drive away...once he realized he could not in fact get my SUV to start, he called one of his other trucks to tow my Excursion to Shepard Ford in canandaigua for replacement of the starter....when his 2nd flat bed truck promptly arrived to load up my excursion and deliver it to my dealer, it was another fine gent named Tim who politely greeted me and quickly got the paperwork done and the motor vehicle loaded for transport---the entire time sporting a big smile and a very pleasant and happy disposition despite sweating profusely in the 96 degree hot muggy sun!!! Folks, I do not usually write reviews for anyone, but these folks at MTM are special and I felt this story should be told to the public so others can realize how great this company and its people are to deal with...thx again MTM and Tim---you folks are the best and you now have a new permanent customer!
