Honest, Trustworthy, & Professional

I have been a patient for over a year and 1/2 and I have been treated at every visit as if it was my first visit. The staff is courteous, the Dr. listens and then makes suggestions and works with you to make sure you agree with diagnosis and not just telling you something you want to hear. My issues have been handled and the Dr. doesn't waste your time with un-needed visits. Gets you to a maintenance point and you leave knowing your in top notch care and not just another number to him.

The diagnosis of nasal polyps is based on a combination of history, physical examination and often a sinus CT scan. The history of nasal congestion and loss of smell points to nasal polyps. Asthma occurs in many patients with polyps, and worsening nasal symptoms or with use of aspirin or ibuprofen. Allergic fungal rhinosinusitis is related to mold, and seems to return even after sinus surgery.
Chemotherapy
Non-allergic reactions are much more common than drug allergic reactions. These reactions are usually based on the properties of the drugs involved. Symptoms of non-allergic drug reactions vary, depending on the type of medication. People being treated with chemotherapy often suffer from vomiting and hair loss. Certain antibiotics irritate the intestines, which can cause stomach cramps and diarrhea.

Dr. Wein was a Fellow at Johns Hopkins and has advanced training in the specialty of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. Our office can perform skin testing to evaluate environmental, airborne and food allergies. We also treat allergic skin conditions such as contact dermatitis, eczema and urticaria. We also are expert in antibiotic skin testing for drug allergy evaluation and pulmonary Function testing for the evaluation and treatment of asthma. We offer Omailizumab (Xolair) therapy for asthma and chronic urticaria and also other monoclonal antibodies such as Dupilumab (Dupixent), Nucala (Mepolizumab) and many others. We also evaluate and treat recurrent infections and offer SCIG and IVIG gamma globulin replacement therapy.
Lesions
