Urbana High School is a learning center that is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Located in Urbana, Ill., the school serves students in grades 9 through 12. It provides advanced placement and vocational education programs. The school conducts classes in applied technology, business education, and family and consumer science. It also offers education in physics, macroeconomics, calculus, biology and German. Urbana High School s staff includes guidance counselors, librarians, technology aides, psychologists and social workers. The school supports a variety of sports activities that includes basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. The school also operates student organizations, such as the National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The school is governed by the Urbana School District. Urbana High School additionally organizes several sports tournaments and social events.
