Dr. Chan was born and raised in Sacramento, California. He majored in Architecture at U.C. Berkeley and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979. He then attended the UCLA School of Dentistry and graduated in 1983. He spent over 15 years in Modesto before moving to Turlock and has now been serving Stanislaus County for over 25 years. Dr. Chan is a perfectionist at heart but also enjoys the artistic aspects of dentistry. His wife Kristine also serves in the practice as a registered dental assistant and hygienist. They live in Turlock with their three children; Courtnie, Claudia and Joe. Credentials and Memberships include being a graduate of The Schuster Center for professional development and a member of the Kois Center since 1994, a world leader in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dr. Chan also attends training at the state-of-the-art Scottsdale Center for Dentistry to provide the latest in cutting edge technology which includes the integration of CAD/CAM digital dentistry (CEREC- same day tooth colored crowns). Active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Stanislaus Dental Society.
