My kids with 2 of their friends visited Odyssey Fun World in Naperville on 12/23/13. They went because of their winter special a $15 Extreme Adventure Wrist Band; unlimited laser tag, rides, etc. They arrive & are told there is no special price, so they pay $20 each for the wristband (an extra $5 per kid = a wrist band). They go to play laser tag & have to change equipment 3 times because either the gun or vest is broken. By the time they get working equipment their time is up! I contact OFW & they make good by offering to mail out new wristbands on 12/26/13. As of today (1/16/14) I have yet to receive the wristbands. I left a voice mail msg for Ryan Jacobs, Marketing Dir last week which was never returned. I sent an email this morning asking how we can resolve the issue and this is the email I receive. NICE Customer Service. This is the 2nd time we've gone & were told there was no special price. The first we had the email with us. Unfortunately we did not have it this time, BUT the special was posted all over their Facebook page. If this is how their Marketing Dir Ryan Jacobs communicates with customers, just think how their front line staff are trained to interact with visitors.

Hi Susan,

Please understand that I went above and beyond and against my better judgment in giving you those 4 wristbands. If they were in fact lost, that would be the first time that has happened in my 4 years at Odyssey. No disrespect is intended, but we did our job in sending it out here and that's all that we can do. I cannot and will not send out another gift certificate and the situation now lies in the hands of you and the postal service. There also are serial numbers on the gc to help us in instances like this, so we will make use of those. Please let me know if it turns up.

Respectfully,

Ryan Jacobs

I went to the pumpkin patch with my daughter 10-19-15. I have to say say it is the worst pumpkin patch really shouldn't even call it that. Nothing really to do with my daughter cost $22 wouldn't should've cost $5 for the both of us. Petting zoo sucked had two things open. Walked around for 20 minutes and left. Wouldn't give a refund. Been to better kids birthday parties way better than this. Didn't keep my daughter's interest and she is 5. Save your money and go to begston. Wanted to try something new with her and sadly dissapointed. Everything there was a huge disappointment waste of $$$ would give 0 stars

comment to san851

I want to respond based on the your comment, due to the fact your are making it seem as if its a bad place due to your experience and also based on the fact you stated the race as if this is the only race that get in front of the line. Based on my experiene with the laser tag. I had to wait in line also over 1 hour and a group of teenagers NOT AFRICAN AMERICAN came over after playing games and got in front of my group and I and they had their litlte brother who kept getting out of the line and once the doors was about to open the little brother (NOT AFRICAN AMERICAN) went over and got his family and we didnt get upset we were next ,they had party of apprx 9 people. Sometimes things happen happen like that and its not due to the color of their skin all people have different ways of viewing people just look over your life, have you ever done anything that you didnt suppose to do or have anyone ever talk down on you, my question to you how did it fill.........................LEARN TO FORGIVE AND LIVE AND DONT JUDGE PEOPLE, PLACES OR THINGS BASED ON ONE SITUATION YOU WASNT HAPPY WITH. IM NOT AFRICAN AMERICAN AND MY BEST FRIEND IS AND I LOVE HER AND HER FAMILY AND MY PARENTS FEEL THE SAME WAY !!!!!!

A serious issue

I was invited on Febuary 2,2008 to a birthday party of my baby cousins.

Everything was fine.

The food was good.

The rides were descent.

The coasters, bumper cars, and kiddie play area were fine and efficient.

Then by 9:30pm, I was going to the laser shooting game LAZERTECH, and I went with 6 of my relatives.

My aunt paid for our lazer gun game total of $58.31 (ONE TIME FOR 7 PEOPLE) We were waiting in line for an hour and ten minutes, and we were finally up for the lazer gun shootout. There was a young African American woman by us when we were in line. And she had 13 friends that were Standing outside the waiting poles. They went on bumper cars and played arcade games. And like 5 minutes before the door slided open, her friends were standing and looking at her friend that was in line. And like 15 seconds before the doors opened, the 13 friends barged in by the African American teenager, and they were next to us. We had our group of 7 ready to go and play. So when the doors opened, they ran fastly in , not giving us a chance to get in the headquarter room of the lazertag, and also we were the first ones waiting, the girl came in line 20 minutes after we entered the line. so we got in the room and then the game controllers were saying '' it's too crowded. There's not enough guns for everyone'' and I stood up and said ''well we were here first'' and my older cousin and her boyfriend started arguing that we were first to go. so we had an argument outside of the hq room the exit. The YOUNG LADY said F*** YOU TO MY OLDER COUSIN '' YOURE A SL**'' , STFU! I WAS FIRST AND SO ON AND ON. LATER THE SUPERVISOR CAME AND REFUNDED US THE MONEY MY AUNT PAID. THEN THE SUPERVISOR DIDNT WANT US TO FEEL BAD THAT WE WERE IN LINE FOR OVER AN HOUR AND WE HAD TO GO THROUGH AN ARGUMENT, SO HE GAVE US FREE PRIZES UNDER 2000 POINTS. ALL 7 OF US. I GOT REALLY MAD BECAUSE I THOUGHT WE WERE GRTTING DISCRIMINATED BY OUR RACE.

Fun But Some Issues

This place is fun for the kids but sometimes some of the rides and games are out of service which is not fun.
