My husband and I go to Dr. Alvin Payne. I, myself, have been his patient since 1989. He is knowledgeable, kind, patient, and listens carefully to the patient. He correctly diagnosed, within moments, something that had been grossly misdiagnosed in the ER, & for which I'd been incorrectly prescribed large amounts of antibiotics for a couple of weeks. He had me past the crisis within a day & a half. His nurse, Heather, also listens carefully to the patient and will go out of her way to be helpful. The front desk has been kind and accommodating down through the years. I highly recommend Dr. Payne and Medical Specialists of Texarkana.

Dr. Claudia Jordon lacks in volumes after my last visit with my Doctors at MD Anderson.it was their suggestion that I find a new PPO. Do NOT go to this Doctor!! Doctor \ Patient relationship is not good! After being called out by her piers. While at sons Army graduation she sends me a certified letter. I called for an explation is which only a Dr. Can give I'm still waiting! No tissue in the waiting room I ask, their reply is patients steal them so we removed them.of all the Dr I have seen she is by far the most disappointment to the medical profession! Never have I met a doctor like her, stressful to the patient. Read the reviews on this Doctor before making a choice! Keep in mind very few is willing to write on this review page!

The receptionists are snarky to say the least. They will try to find out who you know and who knows you. Gossip gossip. The lack of professionalism in this office is astonishing. I've never been spoken to in such a vile manner on many different occasions. The doctor I've been seeing there since 2008 is very good but dealing with those power-tripping minion morons at the front desk is enough to look for another doctor.

Great at diagnosis. When no other doc could tell me what was wrong, he was able to diagnose right away. Best doctor who spared me a lot of pain!
