Kirt's Transmission

I can highly recommend Kirt. He was able to fix the linkage on my 1972 Chevrolet pickup. I had first taken it to a shop in New Boston, because it would not go into reverse. The New Boston shop got it so the pickup could shift into reverse, but I lost the low gear (the pickup was in drive when put in the low gear setting, the pickup was in neutral in the drive setting, the pickup was in reverse in the neutral setting, and park was in the reverse setting). When I pointed out the problem to the New Boston shop, they basically said they could not fix the problem. Kirt got the linkage to work correctly, and charged a fair price. He does great work.

There are a lot of cons out there, but Kirt is a man of integrity. We were stranded in Texarkana with a truck that had a bad transmission. Kirt helped get us back on the road as quickly as possible working hours late into the night to see us back on the road to home. He really went the extra mile and gave us a great deal for all the work he did. If you are ever in the area and have car problems or other service needs, give this man a call. You will not regret it.
