California Nails & Day Spa

Just as mad as the other reviews, paid 40 for gel nails that peeled the SAME day and completely missing my middle nail on my right hand by the 2nd day. The gel manicures are suppose to last 2 to 3 weeks! I could've done better with wal mart quality paint and my own expertise.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!



I went with my 2daughters and niece; I got my tips refilled my oldest daughter got a full set and my youngest daughter got her nails and toe nails painted as did my niece. When I left I had a huge crake/brake down my thumb nail. My oldest daughters nails were completely uneven. My niece had got zebra strips and they looked like scribbles and had clipped her nails down to the quick. And my youngest daughter had just wanted some flowers, and it looked like a tiny circle in the middle of her finger. Not quite done the woman had got all the paint on my nieces skin and very little on her fingers. Lets see this was done about a week and a half ago so it was done on a Wednesday and Saturday my oldest daughters set had came off and my youngest and my nieces nail polish had came off too. Mine had looked terrible still with only four nails left. I will tell you if you ever want to come here DONT!!!! Thank you for your time!

Horrible experience!! Extremely out of control.



Terrible service... My daughters (ages 8 & 10) and I opted to get a manicure/pedicure and a pink and white fill for myself while we where shopping at the mall. BAD BAD BAD idea!!! The concept of "customer service" ~ non-existent.



The guy who "took care" of me ~ ruined my nails, and painted my toes (as well as my toe nails) I mean honestly I get less paint on my "toes" than he did, massage with the "spa pedicure" lasted about 1 min. per foot -enough to rub in some lotion. No hot towel, No salt-rub to exfoliate.... He did trim my toe nails and push back cuticles.



But the worst part he was rude and bossy. He decided that my nails needed to be taken complete off and then replaced I reluctantly I agreed, he opted to soak them in a bowl of acetone ~ OUCH! I expressed that it was burning my skin; he insisted I leave my hands in the acetone. I could feel my skin tightening and I told him, I can not do this and again insisted and told me, You CANT take them out now Leave them in! ~URGH! Then he decided I needed to soak while he did the pedicure, and he moved me over to the pedicure station. He placed this bowl of acetone on my lap and then tugged, pulled and pushed my feet/legs while I was trying to balances this bowl of acetone. VERY uncomfortable, NOT relaxing!! When I would express my unhappiness he would get irritated. Vocally embarrassing me ~ He was rude and demeaning. Eventually I removed my hands from this liquid and placed the bowl on a side table. My fingers were pink and raw; still are this morning.



By this time I had sticky unbelievable hands/nails and polish not only on my toe nails but on my toes as well :-/ Then we moved back to the nail station and he got physically rough with my hands...



Think my sage is over yet... I wish! I thought when the owner stepped in and removed this man from the store it would get better. She had another lady clean up my nails as best as possible. This girl suggested that I NOT put nails back on that day because my natural nail bed needed to rest. She stated I should wait at least 2 weeks.



1 positive note - The girls mani/pedi for $25/each was great. They have adorable little spa chairs just right for their size and the polish with design turned out very cute.



But then I go to checkout - she says, that will be $95. I was like WHAT!!! I understand $50 of that. Like I stated before the girls turned out very cute and they where happy. But $45 for my mess and I am now leaving with NO nails!!! I looked better before we started and my hands did not hurt! I handed her the $50 for the girls and stated I am not paying $45 for what you did to me. As I turn around to leave another gentleman (I assume a owner) standing directly behind me stated, maam you have to pay. I again stated I am not paying $45 for what you did to me. At this point I was scared and just wanted to leave. She finally came down to $25. I paid and left...



I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!
