        Ready for the older crowd? This is your stop. Not saying this is a bad thing. Dont think you can just pop in either. This place is packed and for good reasons.

        This has been our "CROSSROADS Meeting PLACE," for many years. Here, at this intersection of I-40 & U.S.41, is a GREAT "rest stop," or "swapping passengers," place. We have family in IL, IN, OH, & KY, so it's convenient to meet in the atmosphere of beautiful flowers, in the parking area, & in the clean, relaxing atmosphere of the dining room, & shop. Our service was great, as was the food. I've noticed NEGATIVE comments about THIS place, but WE found the facility, including restrooms, dining, shop & parking areas, to be CLEAN, & clear of odor or clutter, TODAY.

        We (my family) went to your Terre Haute Restaurant on wed. Nov. 19th 2008.

        I have never had such a "Fair" meal there before, and the only reason i rated it fair was because the only one that could eat their meal was my granddaughter...she had the chicken and dumplins dinner...her's was hot and she said it was good. My husband got the opened faced beef sandwich, it was COLD, I got the chicken livers, they were COLD and so hard i could not eat them. I dont think there was any livers in them at all, just breading and cooked really hard!. But the dumplings i ordered were nice and hot. Thirdly my son just ordered a house salad...it was brown and had almost all of the hard pieces of the lettuce in it, plus the tomatoes were soured, it could not eat them.

        Other them that we had a good experiance.
