The landlord lures you in saying things such as "it's a college environment," "free high speed internet" etc....but after signing a lease you will find her reminding you frequently that you are NOT in a college dorm and fining you for noise complaints for anything above a whisper. She also changes services such as the internet without warning. In my first 10 months, I was addressed for 2 wrongdoings that I hadn't done, and had to go out of my way to prove to her that she was wrong, with no apology in the end. Overall, a terrible landlord who handles things like a high schooler.
If that's not enough, the facilities themselves are poorly constructed. You can hear every one of your neighbors through the thin walls and ceilings. The door locks were replaced with electronic ones (another change without notice) which can be easily defeated.
Don't be fooled when you come to look at an apartment, You will find yourself at the knees of the landlord paying fines left and right. My advice- look elsewhere.

Be careful to not have a conversation with anyone in your apartment because you'll also be talking to all of your neighbors. That's how thin the walls and floors are.
Apartment construction as a whole is the cheapest cheap that you could find. Doors are paper mache and the amenities were bought at a K-mart special.
The landlord will reel you in while being super nice and accommodating but be warned, once you sign a contract she's ruthless and petty. Expect emails monthly or more frequently with excerpts from your lease agreement in all caps threatening fines or other punitive measures. She hears things through the grapevine of other tenants and then takes action without any real evidence.
When you have the pleasure of receiving an email from the landlord get ready to decypher TXT ling0. Don't even think about expecting professional correspondence.
It's a shame such a stingy, aloof landlord has the only apartment complex in this area.

I lived here for two years and I would not recommend this complex to Rose students or TH residents.
- The walls are paper thin and you can hear normal conversation levels through the walls
- Snow/Ice removal in the winter is very lacking and there is only one main exit to the apartments which is on a steep hill
- Internet service (via New Wave) is provided, but is extremely slow and disconnects every couple of hours for random periods at a time. The wireless installed does not provide a strong signal either. Students depend on this service to be reliable and it isn't
- Lighting at night is very poor on the walkways and parking lots
- The "Study Room" only has couches and no work space
- Only 3 washers and 2 dryers serve an entire building
- The heating/cooling unit in the older apartments are in-wall units which are very noisy and do not efficiently regulate the temperature
- Building maintenance and cleanliness are lacking
Overall..yes, it's close to Rose, but it simply is not worth it for students. They simply want to take your money and not put any of it back into maintaining the building or improving it.
