BEWARE OF POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES: The people in the leasing office lied to us. We gave them a money order (required by Mezzo) because they would not accept a personal check for the deposit. When we didn't qualify after many calls and emails not returned they returned our money order (when I showed up) made out to them. Karina our leasing representative told us we could take the money order to Publix and they would refund our money. FIRST LIE! When questioned Karina she stated, "Oh they do it all the time!" SECOND LIE! We talked with the Manager at Publix he stated this has happened several times in the past. This whole process took almost a week. I would recommend that anyone thinking about applying to Mezzo BEWARE OF POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES. Now dealing with the money order company I am out $500 and will wait up to 30 days to receive it. Mezzo representatives knew what they were doing was wrong but did it anyway. THEY ARE ALL LIARS. I am filing complaints with several organizations.
