First House Chinese Restaurant

from the outside you wouldn't think the food would be good, but it is the only place to eat Chinese food in Talladega. the owner is especially nice!

A friend recommended First House to us, and they were right! Great food, great service, very good pricing, and there was enough take-home for another big meal. The Hot and Sour Soup and Egg Rolls were fantastic! We decided to make this place a regular destination for us, and we live 25 miles away!

It's a very good restaurant. I like it better than the rest of the Oriental Restaurants in town, because the food they serve is cooked when you order it. It's not a buffet. I don't like food that has been sitting. The food is reasonably priced and the proportion are generous. The staff is very friendly and I've never had a bad dinner, not once since I've been going there. I am very picky, very picky when it comes to freshness of my food. I would invite anyone to order in or order out, either way it's a good meal and affordable.
