I work all over Southern CA and will usually go to a CVS Pharmacy that is close to my location at the time. I have about 2 that I go to on a regular basis. I’ve moved into the Studio City area and have now decided to go this CVS as it’s close to my house. Every single time I have gone it’s been something. The first time I went they said they would have my prescription ready hours before I even arrived. That was not the case. They had not even called the CVS at my other location to get the prescription transferred. They said it would only be 5-10 and ended up being 20-30. Not a HUGE deal but it’s annoying. The second time I went to pick up a prescription they told me I could come in any time on the day I was told to come pick it up. I ended up coming by after work (530PMish) and about 20 minutes before I even came by I called to make sure it was filled before I wasted my time to drive that direction and get stuck in traffic. I spoke to someone who told me it was NOT filled yet but would be ready and filled in 15 mins so I could come get it now. It’s a good thing I didn’t stop by in the morning to pick it up as I was told I could have. I show up…wait in line for 20 mins…and finally get to the counter. The woman that helped me out had no clue what she was doing and seemed very scatter brained but she was at least nice enough. But of course my prescription was NOT ready to be picked up and as the Pharmacist had just gone on her dinner break it would not be ready for the next hour at the soonest. The woman who seemed in charge (not the one helping me out at the register) was extremely rude and had zero apologies for what had happened. The man who told me it would be ready suddenly seemed to disappear in the back and again…there was nothing that could be done. I understand that things happen. But when every time you walk into the pharmacy and it happens without apologies and continues to happen…there is something wrong. I will not be going back to that pharmacy. They are terrible for that company and have no sense of direction or organization. I have had luck at other CVS but this one is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to.
