I came here with my family about 30 minutes ago. There was a big tall white employee, he was very rude and didn't let us go inside because they were closed, he didn't even say it nicely and closed the door in front of our faces. I understand they want to go home, but they need to stop being unprofessional and wait until 7pm to close the doors. We still had more than 10 minutes left before closing time. Never coming here again!

I purchased furniture on black Friday from this store. The sales person Ewa was really good and understandable. When completing the order at customer service I was promised to get money taken off of the protection plan. There was a lot of things going on at the same time because they wanted me to take a discount instead of the financing and where telling me the price with the discount which before signing I told them what is this? I want financing. They finally switched it to the 48 month financing and I was happy. Not looking close to my receipt I signed it. Some of the furniture was on back order till January which I was aware of. I called the store because I noticed that I was charged the full amount for not having all the furniture at my home. Sandra at customer service told me that this is a credit card and I need to pay it, while the credit card company told me that this is wrong and I should call the store manager to get a temporary credit on the furniture I dont have yet. To shut me up Sandra looked up my account and said the rest of the furniture can be delivered Thursday, I was so happy that I agreed and no longer needed a temporary credit. Thursday came around and they only delivered my server. I called the store back and they said you have to deal with Joilet because it is closer to your home and your order was sent there. How rude, I buy furniture at one store but they send me off to the next. So I called Melissa the manager and told her what happened, she said the rest will come Saturday. So I said fine, Saturday came along and I got delivered 6 chairs and a table, which they could not put together because a part was missing and they left it there with a mess in my house. I was furious and called the store back. They told me sorry this item is now out of stock till February, EXCUSE ME???? So they offered me a loaner table. I was so mad I made them pick up all the furnituture the same day because it was damaged anyways. Tuesday they set another delivery up with the loaner table and chairs. Again they took 4 out of the 6 chairs back because they were damaged. I finally had it and went back to the Streamwood store to talk to Jessica, which is the worst manager I have ever come across. She has this stupid grin on her face and keeps rolling her eyes and shaking her head like there is something wrong with her. Maybe she thinks she works in a circus??? She is very unprofessional. I also caught that the protection was not discounted and she told me SORRY its been two months and I cant do anything for you now. OFCOURSE because they already had my money!!! I was so irritated that not only am I getting damaged furniture everytime but I am getting treated like I am not a human being. I called in and cancelled the order. Maybe I would have waited if Jessica the manager would have not crossed the line. Good luck to anyone who wants to buy furniture from valuecity. Maybe other stores besides Streamwood and Joilet will have better service.

We are very dsappointed by the...

We are very dsappointed by their service. Their ladies staff is very very very RUDE and arrogant. Saleswomen are so busy in chit chat with other colleagues that they damn care about the customers. We went there and called for Linda twice and she didn't bother to come till we called her for the 3rd time, she was busy in chit chat.

We will never go there again. But i would like to mention here that Value city's Naperville staff is very nice and very cooperative especially Bill and there was a lady i just forgot her name.

Ms. G

Our salesman, Francisco, spent a lot of time helping us pick just the right furniture for our needs.

He was extremely knowlegable about his products and very patient with questions. The prices were also quite reasonable.

I would definitely return to this store if I had more household needs.
