I attended school at Southeastern Beauty School Stockbridge, Georgia location in October, 2012. Everything was perfect with school until students were told in April, 2013 that the school had lost its funding and would be closing. After the announcement the school immediately closed and student could not receive necessary paperwork to transfer to another school i.e. transcript, withdrawal letter, school closing letter etcetera. One teacher from Southeastern Beauty School found a school that was sympathetic to the student’s situation was willing to accept students in however, that particular school was not an accredited cosmetology school and was pretty much a scam as well.
My issue is that I Southeastern Beauty School charged me the full amount of tuition for a program I never got to finish. In addition, I did not receive a diploma, I cannot attend another school because I can’t get an official transcript and I have to repay the whole loan back to Sallie Mae. When trying to resolve the issue another Southeastern Beauty School location in Columbus, Georgia they never returned my phone call and when speaking to Sallie Mae they keep giving me the run around. I never had been in a situation like this and feel hopeless because I don’t know what to do or where to start.
At end of it all I accept the school being closed and not being able to finish there. I don’t even mind paying for the time I did attend the school. I just want Southeastern Beauty School to give Sallie Mae the proper amount I owe and to release my transcript so I can move on to another program.

I decided to try Southeastern Beauty School since my friends talked so highly of the talented students. I must say that my hair looked better than when I went to my normal stylist and spent double the money. Since the prices are so cheap, I can afford to get my hair fixed every week. I love this Beauty School!

The instructors are very funny and easy on the students. The students are also very inspiring, fun, talkitive, and good to know peeps. Now i go to Southeastern Beauty School every time i get my hair did. Thank you guys.

I went to get a haircut recent...

I went to get a haircut recently, and I would have to say that my cut by the student wasn't bad at all (with the exception of my hair being a tad bit uneven), but being that I went to a school to get my hair cut, I wasn't expecting the best. I was shocked by the unprofessionalism by the staff, "Mr. C." to be more specific. As I was getting my hair cut I told the student that I wanted her to bump my hair as well, regardless of the cost. As she began, Mr. C says to the student doing my hair "Ummm, what are you doing? We don't do that! Oh No!" In reference to her bumping my hair. She states "I'm bumping her hair" (Obviously) Then he continues by saying, "Well that's an additional cost!" I then turn to him and say, "I KNOW! I asked her to bump my hair, and she informed my of the cost" I was amazed that he would say that while I was sitting in the chair. I don't mind paying the girl a measly $5 for a bump! But what I did mind was the nasty attitude that I received from "Mr.C" The student did her job very well, from the consultation all the way to the style, unfortunately, I will not be going back. I felt like I was in a salon in the middle of the projects; when in actuality, I was in country Stockbridge. I could say much more about this school, being that I attended this school briefly when it had an esthetician program. I left due to major unprofessinalism, and transferred to a far better school.... It's sad to see that that has not changed.
