Fox Nails Day Spa

Called to book a shellac manicure which they confirmed. upon arrival the owner lied by saying that they had discontinued the service due to its harmful effects but the truth is that the nail technician had quit. She then took more than 2 hours to give me a french manicure.

AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS. Don't dare to venture there and if you do, consider yourself forewarned on the poor service to expect

I was greeted by 2 very nice members. 1 with long blonde hair and 1 and big 1 with really nice make-up. They were really proffesional and humorous also. It was a really relaxing enviroment. However the owner was pure NERVE RECKING! It sounds as if she just makes up stories to converse with her clients. I don't think anyone knew what she was talking about majority of the time. Over all the Experience was nice. They also bathe your feet in giant pedi bowls. Thats the most clean and healthy way to do it!

I had a living social deal to try out this "spa". The first tip off is that is by appt only which made me think, it either is super fancy or doesn't have enough staff. When I walked it, I was greeted by very nice staff, all three of them. The place looked like it needed a health inspection. I was a little worried, but I had been to worse looking places, so I was just hoping for at worst a basic mani pedi. My attendant had really long nails and had a hard time painting my nails. After several redo's I had her paint my nails clear. The stuff she was putting on my hands looked really old. Next, up the "spa" pedicure. Basically they sit you in a chair and put your foot in a bucket and use the same water over and over. I had the attendant paint my nails twice and they still were sloppy, but after an hour and half, I just wanted it to be over. When it was done I was rushed out with plastic wrap on my feet. I felt so bad for the girl I tipped her. When I got home my toenails were ruined. Oh and, the owner gave me a thank you note with a magnet inside, it seemed nice until I realized she had given me someone else's card! There were only two customers! Ugh! I will never go there again!

I really love this place! I signed up for the skin peel package and the staff has been AWEsome to say the least. The owner is humble, very professional and gives quality customer service. I can tell that she really values her customers. I get offered beverages with every visit. They also offer to hang up my coat for me. The skin peels are very reasonably priced, esp if you get the package. I haven't tried the nail services yet, but I will be sure to give a review on that when I do.

Terrible place - stay away at all costs. The staff is untrained, doesn't know what they are doing.. for a pedi, you get to soak your feet in a bucket (I kid you not) with lukewarm water. As various "masks" are applied to your feet, they get washed wtih the same increasingly cold water. Disgusting... Polish is applied so badly - it went from a 3 mm gap between cuticles and where the polish starts, to my cuticles being painted over. The owner will badger you about tipping her staff while you're still getting treatment... Some spa.. STAY AWAY

I will never advise you to visit that place. The owner also told me about her loss in the family the minute I walked there. If I were her, I wouldn't discuss that matter with anyone else especially in the SALON!!!!!! She is unprofessional, the staff doesn't know what they are doing, and they don't have proper equipment to perform the service. Also the SPA Mani is not worth $20 in that place.The polish is bad and it doesn't dry at all!

Attended the launch for Fox Nail & Day Spa. Warm & professional. I would visit often if I lived in CT.

This spa has great services for men such as there GQ Buff n Shine( manicure & pedicure services) I like that it doesn't sound so femine. I had an Arbonne Men's facial and it was worth every dime $80, great price! It came with a refreshing natural antioxidant immunity booster drink and a fiber one granola bar. Along with a parting gift for coming for the first time, a protein drink and a magnet business card to post on my fridge, and $10 on my next visit. I'm looking forward to going back and will treat my wife to their relaxing facial soon.

attenttion to all customers . this is far from a spa ! also please do not make any donations . yes there was a child ans yes he did pass but the owner tries to feed this sad story to all customers so they can feel bad for her if i was a mother and my child had pass i would not be using him as an excuse so others can support me . how heart less .

Great personal touches and very pleasant atmosphere. I am going back on the 11th, can't wait. I really likes the pavolia facial because M. is so talented and naturally capable with the hands. Thanks a lot!

We I walked in the first thing I notice was the smell, It smells so good . They had aromatherapy oils that they burn which really relaxed me and they have the best Minx designs, Thank GOD I found them, no more trips to New York City for my Minx Nails. they even took time doing my pedicure 45 mins lots and lots of foot and leg massages even had fresh sliced lemons in my pedicure water. I am such a fan now that I done my make up with them by the time I left I felt like a QUEEN with all the serving and Super Diva treatment they gave me. I will let everyone know where I get dolled up at!

I had my a facial and body scub along with Minx on my nails and toes. It lasted for about 2 1/2 weeks, I loved having them done, and can not wait to do them again. So I recommend every go to Fox Nails Day Spa and treat yourself, you will enjoy it.

My mom has been battling an illness and recently came home from the hospital. We wanted to give mom a special treat and found Fox Nails Day Spa online. They came to mom's house and gave her a spa treatment for the very first time. The Esthetican had a gentle touch which made mom feel comfortable. She really brought the spa experience to us by adding aromatherapy, candle light and soothing soundscapes. We truly reccoment Fox Nails Day Spa to anyone who is looking for a personal touch of class! We will be there will two thumbs up for your Grand Opening in downtown Stamford.
