He later worked in different areas within the real estate industry as a title examiner with then Golden Feather Realty Services, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland; as a Title Insurance Underwriter with Mid-States Title Insurance Company, Inc. in 1999 in Fairfax, Virginia and as a Closer at Associates Relocation Management Company, Inc. in Washington, DC. From 1989 to 1994.

The firm also practices litigation in the District and Circuit Courts of Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties, Maryland. Prior to the opening of Ofori Law Firm, LLC. Attorney Ofori was the managing attorney at Fountainhead Title Group (FTG) in the Greenbelt, Maryland Branch between June 2003 and September 2005. He conducted both residential and commercial real estate settlements/closings for properties located in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Additionally, he marketed FTG services to real estate agents, brokers, mortgage loan officers and brokers and financial institutions in the mortgage and real estate industry.

After law school, Ofori worked as a law clerk at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Board of Contract of Appeals (HUDBCA) in Washington, D.C. from August 1997 to July 1998. As a law clerk, Ofori drafted decisions and orders for three administrative judges on government contracts, real estate litigation, IRS tax offsets, suspensions and debarments, conducted legal research of statutes, regulations, state and federal laws, legal writing and analysis, resolution of complex legal problems and issues, assisted in preparation of hearings before the Board.
Wills
A will, which is sometimes known as a “Last Will and Testament”, is a legally enforceable document that provides instructions or lists specific desires of the owner of the will as to what happens to their body, and/or their property after they pass away. The will may provide that certain property of the owner go to a specific person or entity. This person or entity is called a beneficiary. It is possible to leave gifts to pets as well.
Trusts
Create a Living Trust. A trust is a legally enforceable document which instructs a specific person, called a Personal Representative, to hold and manage property for the benefit of a third party. For example, the owner of the will can entrust someone to hold and manage property for their child if they believe the child would not be able to manage the property well. This can be listed in a will.

Foreclosure
Most likely it means the owner of the property, who is probably your landlord, isn’t making the mortgage payments. You may have to move, but not right away. The most important thing to know is that the foreclosure does not immediately change your relationship with your landlord. In other words, you still have to pay rent or risk being evicted. If the owner doesn't stop the foreclosure, you may eventually be forced to move, even if you have a written lease. It will take 3 to 6 months, perhaps a year or even longer, for the foreclosure to go through.
Debt Collection
Similar to civil litigation, commercial litigation involves dispute between two or more businesses regarding business related issues, and will seek compensation for the proposing business or a specific action required to be performed by the opposing business. These may include but not limited to employee disputes, breach of contract, debt collection, partnership disputes, and interference with business or contracts.
