Your pet will be monitored by the veterinary surgeon and a licensed veterinary technician during his or her anesthesia. Your pet will be monitored by a respiratory monitor, a heart monitor (ECG), a blood oxygen monitor, a blood pressure monitor, and temperature will be checked regularly. Warmth is provided during and after anesthesia. In addition, your pet's gum color, pulse, and respiration quality will be monitored.
Periodontal Disease Treatment
DENTAL CARE - 80% of all pets over the age of two have some form of periodontal disease! We are especially equipped to x-ray, ultrasonically clean, polish, treat, and repair your pet's teeth and gums to optimize your pet's oral health.

Veterinary Surgery
SURGERY - We have an exceptional surgical preparation area and operating room. Utilizing the latest surgical techniques and instruments, we perform a wide variety of elective and soft tissue surgeries. We also offer many advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries surgeries in-house through the Advanced Mobile Veterinary Surgery. So, our patients stay under the care of our caring, trained staff after their procedure.
Spaying and Neutering
Your decision to have an elective surgical procedure performed on your pet is a big one! Over the years, as veterinary medicine has changed and progressed, surgical procedures and standards of care have changed as well. After years of talking with our clients, we realize that there is a large misperception about exactly how much the standards of care differ from hospital to hospital - especially when it comes to spays, neuters, and dental cleanings. Since care varies, price will vary. Low-cost spay and neuter clinic definitely have a place in our community to help with the pet overpopulation problem. Unfortunately, in order to provide their services at such low prices, the quality and safety suffers. Many people will shop around for the lowest price on surgery without knowing what saving a few dollars will cost them or their pet.

Laboratory Services
When touring, use all of your senses. How does the clinic look and smell? If you can smell animal odors, your pet definitely can, which can add to his or her stress. Is the waiting area clean and tidy, or is it disorganized? Do you feel comfortable? How clean is everything? Do the exam rooms appear to be organized and well-stocked? Is there an extensive and organized pharmacy? What kind of vaccines does the hospital use? Pay particular attention to the diagnostic equipment: is there Ultrasound? Endoscopy? X-ray? In-house Laboratory? Electrosurgery or Laser? Make sure there are IV infusion pumps to administer IV fluids. Does the hospital use safer (but much more expensive) water circulation pads instead of electric heating pads (which can cause thermal burns and injury, even electrical shock) to warm the animals? Make sure you inspect where the animals are housed. Is there a separate area for potentially contagious animals? Are the kennels stainless steel and able to be thoroughly sanitized? Carpet can never be fully cleaned or sanitized, and except for disposable mats near entryways and exits, has no place in a veterinary hospital.

Ward personnel are responsible for animal handling, bathing and grooming, cleaning, feeding, laundry, waste disposal, and running lab work.
