WINGS is a nonprofit, community agency that offers a variety of services to end domestic violence and homelessness. The agency operates more than 20 homes and apartments that serve as transitional living options. It provides financial management, housing assistance, and career and family counseling services to women and children in need. WINGS also offers shelter, education, guidance and support to homeless and abused women and children. The agency s staff provides information and referrals to hundreds of families to assist in accessing community resources. Its Safe House is a facility that offers legal advocacy, medical care, counseling and community referral services. WINGS Project Lifeline program provides an opportunity for women to pair with a mentor who provides companionship, stability, advocacy, career assistance and home visits for participants.
