Before his dermatology residency, Dr. Prashant Singri spent two years performing clinical research at Northwestern University, investigating all of the newest therapies for moderate to severe psoriasis. After his residency at Northwestern, he stayed on clinical faculty and headed the psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis clinic for seven years, managing severe and complicated psoriasis patients. At Schaumburg Dermatology, we have all of the newest therapies accessible for patients with all types of psoriasis that allows him to continue this excellence in care.
Primary Care
At Schaumburg Dermatology our goal is to treat, maintain and enhance people’s lives by delivering medical and cosmetic dermatologic care in a unique way. We offer university-level quality care combined with a personal and compassionate atmosphere of a solo practice. In addition to determining solutions for acute and chronic concerns our Providers are dedicated to providing ongoing education regarding skin health. Our goal is to build strong relationships with local primary care physicians, specialists, and the community to exceed patient expectations, deliver positive outcomes, and increase skin health awareness. Family Practice
Sarah is a board certified and licensed Physician Assistant practicing medical and surgical dermatology. Sarah grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology (Summa Cum Laude) at Denison University in Ohio in 2005. She earned her Master of Medical Science degree (MMS) in Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University in 2008. She then worked as a family practice PA for three years, which provided her with a strong foundation in general medicine before transitioning into dermatology.

Internal Medicine
Dr. Nimisha completed her medical school training at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara and New York Medical College. She than went on to complete an internal medicine residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in 2003. After practicing internal medicine for 4 years, she underwent training in cosmetic medical procedures including IPL/laser, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, Botox, and dermal fillers (Juvederm/Restylane).

Chemotherapy
After we or your primary doctor has diagnosed you with skin cancer, we can discuss the appropriate method of treatment, which may be electrodessication in office, excision in office, topical chemotherapy at home, referral to a Moh’s surgeon or radiation oncologist.

Neurosurgery
Sonal was born in Chicago, raised in Schaumburg, Illinois and attended James B.Conant High School. She received her undergraduate degree with Honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Medical Technology. She then went on to complete a Master of Medical Science degree (MMS) in Physician Assistant Studies at Cornell University Medical School’s Surgically Focused Physician Assistant Program in New York City. Sonal has been a Physician Assistant since 2002 and started her career in surgery doing cardiothoracic and vascular surgery for a majority of her career and neurosurgery for over 10 years. She also worked at a mesotherapy clinic learning techniques in weight and cellulite reduction. Sonal has a very strong interest in surgical, medical and aesthetic dermatology.
