Poom Thai Cuisine

Tonight is THE absolute LAST time we order from Poom Thai. We have been ordering from this restaurant for over 11 years! Here is what happened and why I will NOT ever order again and why I will tell everyone to order elsewhere as well.

We ordered 2 Pad Thai and 1 soup for dinner. for 3 people. It is Friday night and Grub Hub email tells us that the ETA is about an hour from the order time. In fact - it was slightly less. However, when my husband opened the bag - we were 1 Pad Thai short so he called the restaurant to inquire. He was told they would hurry and make a new one. They didn't even offer to bring something extra to compensate us for him not having anything to eat. It's been almost an hour.... nothing has been delivered.



Finally - the delivery guy came and when my husband asked what they might do to compensate us to make up for the fact they didn't offer an accommodation for bringing a meal over an hour later the driver said, "Well you won't order again from us again anyway so it doesn't matter."



My husband called the restaurant and the person on the phone said they are not responsible for doing anything to keep customers. HORRIBLE!!!



Poom Thai - you've lost customers who have ordered Thai delivery ONLY from you for 11 years.

Not bad Thai food, although the ambiance doesn't exist. Curries are ok. It's basically a take-out place with a few seats. There's only street parking. Customer service has been adequate.
