Sensei Pedro Soriano has been working hard on spreading Jiu-Jitsu on the community.

Both me and my neighbor have been trainning with pedro soriano for a little over a year and there has been no regrets. If you want to whip into shape learn how defend yourself and boost confidence stop wasting time and get trainning. We have no regrets and ever will.

I had been searching for a quality school to send my children to. It would seem like such a simple task. Find a martial arts school and sign them up right? Unfortunately it's not that simple. So many schools these days advertise all the different things they teach and yet the instructors are not truly qualified; or the school has so many other locations that you end up learning from a bunch of different mid level students because the "master" is never in one place for long! Other schools are "pay to play" black belt factories where they promise you a black belt in "X" amount of years if you agree to pay enough money!! Thank God I found Pedro Soriano's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. From the moment we walked into the school and were greeted by BJJ Black Belt Pedro Soriano, we felt like family. Pedro offered us a week of free instruction and we have been hooked ever since!! He has never missed teaching a class since I signed them up! This school is great because everyone is treated as family!! The kids all greet each other when they walk in, and at the end of the class they all stay around and shake hands and congratulate each other on their efforts! The art itself is practical and transfers perfectly between sport and street self-defense. My kids, ages 6 and 11, love it and ask everyday if it's "jiu-jitsu day"!! I can see the difference in they way they carry themselves and in their self-esteem. The interaction between them and their instructor is magical! I highly recommend this school to any parent looking to bring out the best in their child!!

I have been training with Pedro Soriano since 2007. I especially seeked out his instruction due to his reputation as a practical instructor. As a law enforcement officer, I have to continually seek out the best training to increase officer survival in the field. Pedro Soriano's instructions are efficient, practical, and effective enabling our agency to utilize techniques that conform to our use of force policy.

I have been training with Pedro for 8 years. Not only is he a great mentor, he is an incredible friend. He has also been teaching my son for a year now, and his kids program is awesome. He has helped my son in so many areas, discipline, self confidence, and focus to name a few. The atomoshere is very family oriented, many of us have developed relationships outside of the gym and I consider all the students as my extended family. His ability to break down the technique for each individual is like no other instructor I have worked with. If you are looking for a good school, look no further!

I have three children (ages 5,9,11) that train with Pedro. My kids are getting the best instruction that money can buy from an instructor who has a passion for teaching. I drive from Long Beach 3 days a week because I know that my children are going to be succesfull under Pedro. I could have chosen many different schools near my home but understand that you are not going to get the same treatment at every school. The atmosphere at PSBJJ Club make it easier for parents to commit to the school. Pedro stresses discipline, loyalty and friendship and that is what people need to get ahead in Jiujitsu. I've been training with Pedro for a long time. He's an excellent jiu-jitsu instructor for both adults and children. He truly cares about his students and really wants them to succeed. My 7-year-old son has been training with Pedro for about a year. As a result, he's increased not only his strength, but also his focus and self confidence.
