Fitness 19 San Jose

The first thing you expect from a business is to open on time. They are supposed to be open at 5am on weekdays. I've joined on April 29th and started going to the gym at 5am the following day. Everyday from April 30th to May 2nd, the opener is either running a few minutes late or running from the parking lot 2 minutes prior to 5am and actually unlocking the doors at 5am. May 3rd is particularly awful. They opened the doors at 524am. There were about 17 of us waiting outside and some couldn't wait and just left. I wrote on their facebook wall that day and the owner called me and assured me that this will never happen again. Well guess what, on May 9th, the doors were unlocked at 502am. On May 14, the doors were unlocked at 531am. May 15th, unlocked the doors at exactly 5am and we even had to hold the doors open for the person behind us since the doors were not fully unlocked. The opener probably gets there on time (445am according to owner) once a week, the rest of the time, she is late or unlocks the door at exactly 5am.

This location is fairly clean and the staff are friendly.

My conclusion, if you are a morning person and wants to get in this gym at exactly 5am, it is not going to happen. I know the membership is cheap but this doesn't mean that they can open whenever they feel like it.

Oh and they keep deleting my wall posts on their facebook page.
