Great Italian cooking! I love it in here, they have so many good pasta meals and their pizzas are so good! I love it in here, I certainly want to go back in here!

This is really a good place. I was craving for Italian the other night and I found out about this place from some of my friends, I went here with my mother and we enjoyed every bite, from the breadsticks to the pasta.

This is just a good place to be. The hospitality in here is really remarkable and a lot of people always go in here so we went just to look what is the fuss all about and we were not disappointed.

These guys are, by far, the BEST MOVERS IN THE COUNTRY. Not only were they great guys, they were unbelievably efficient, and most importantly, they proved to have more integrity than any company I can ever remember hiring. Delancey Street Movers exceeded my expectations on every single possible level.
My crew: Nick S, Rashid D, Alex M, and Zack R, arrived a few minutes early and were all really friendly and fun to be around. Nick instilled my confidence in him immediately, and pretty much blew my mind by the end of the move. Rashid was careful and methodical when securing and protecting our furniture and belongings. Alex and Zack worked their asses off, but I didn't get to see a lot of what they did, because they were busy hauling my stuff into and out of the truck like freaking pros.
Delancey finished moving our 1 bedroom apartment from San Francisco to Oakland in 4 hours, and the final price was about $600 less than the initial estimate. When they say they do everything they can to beat their estimate, they are absolutely telling the truth.
Highlights:
* Very respectful of all our belongings, even the worthless IKEA lamp
* EFFICIENT beyond my wildest expectations
* Great senses of humor
* Moved our 1 bedroom apartment across the bay in 4 hours, start to finish
* Beat their estimate by $600
* Smoothest, easiest, and cheapest move I've ever paid for
Don't mess around with low-ball estimates from other moving companies. No one works harder or sticks to their word better than Delancey Street Moving & Trucking. With these guys, you don't have to worry about hidden expenses, shady bros, or broken belongings. They're smart, hard workers with integrity. They will always have my loyalty as a customer, and my respect.

I love how family friendly this place is. They have so many great meals that are perfect for kids and the people that work in here are good with kids too.

- At our site we hope to show you a little about our model, our successes and our struggles. We’re considered the country's leading residential self-help organization for substance abusers, ex-convicts, homeless and others who have hit bottom. Our average resident has been a hard-core drug addict for sixteen years, abusing alcohol and multiple drugs and has dropped out of school at the 7th grade and has been institutionalized several times. Many have been gang members; most have been trapped in poverty for several generations. Rather than hire experts to help the people with problems, we decided to run Delancey Street with no staff and no funding. Like a large family, our residents must learn to develop their strengths and help each other. It’s an approach to changing lives that is “against all odds”. We said we were going to take ex-convicts and ex-addicts and teach them to be teachers, general contractors, and truck drivers. They said it couldn’t be done. We said we were going to take 250 people who had never worked and had no skills and teach them to build a 400,000 square foot complex as our new home on the waterfront. They said it couldn’t be done. We said we were going to partner with colleges and get people who started out functionally illiterate to achieve bachelor of arts degrees. They said it couldn’t be done. We said we were going to run successful restaurants, moving companies, furniture making, and cafés and bookstores without any professional help. They said it couldn’t be done. We said we were going to do all this with no staff, no government funding, and no professionals. They laughed and said it couldn’t be done. We struggle a lot but we’ve been doing it. For over 40 years we’ve been developing a model of social entrepreneurship, of education, of rehabilitation and change that is exciting and full of hope. If you need help, or want to help, please contact us. Most of all, we hope you can feel as inspired by ordinary people’s abilities to achieve extraordinary accomplishments as we’ve been.
