Jonathan was born and raised in the tree service industry and started "learning the ropes" in 2001. He took some time away from San Diego to pursue his own path but found his way back to San Diego to help run the company his parents founded and lead a new generation of Tree Care Professionals. As the Foreman and one of the lead climbers, he will personally make sure your plans for your trees are carried out perfectly.

ISA Certified Arborist (WE-2159A) for over 20 years. Kurt Peacock is also an ISA Certified Arborist (WE-7748A) and has more knowledge about landscaping than anyone we know.

Landscaping Services
Ted and Christine Huffman began Green Leaf Tree Care as a sole proprietorship in 1980 while living in the Midwest. Upon returning to Southern California in 1982 to give birth to their son Jonathan, they became a leading tree and landscape service to the Redlands/Inland Area for 16 years. In 1998, they brought the company to San Diego and “put down roots.” Ted has been an ISA Certified Arborist (WE-2159A) for over 20 years & trimming trees for over 40 years. Christine worked with her husband Ted for 20 years and then went back to school and got her teaching credentials and taught elementary for 15 years. We are happy to have her back helping us after she retired from teaching last year.
