Intrigue by Color Salon

Okay so if you go through the hair colors on the facebook page I'm the fire ombré. I've only washed it 3x since having it done and my hair is orange and brown... My water is bright orange after I wash it (photo is on my facebook page) and my color has completely faded and looks like crap... I'm outraged that I wasted money on this.... I spent 4 hours and over $150 on a color that faded the very first time I washed it... Yes I am washing my hair in the coldest water I can get and I'm using color safe products.... Never getting my hair colored here again.... Waste of my hard earned money... If I could give 0 stars I would.

I moved to San Antonio 2 years ago and after several bad experiences at other Salons, a friend recommended Intrigue. I will not go anywhere else.



My stylist, Neyssa, is not only an exceptional stylist, but also a highly skilled colorist. Over the past year, I have come to trust her good judgment and professional talent with regard to color, cut, style, and product recommendations. She has even been kind enough to come in earlier than her regularly scheduled hours to help me prepare for an upcoming special event. Without doubt, I will receive compliments about my hair weeks after my visit which is an awesome affirmation of Neyssa's incredible skill.



My overall experience with the Salon has also been stellar. The staff are professional, punctual, courteous and respectful. From hair to nails and eyebrow waxing, the salon staff are knowledgable and well trained. In addition, they go the extra mile to make the experience relaxing and enjoyable. I will not hesitate to continue to use their services and recommend them to family and friends.

I came to this salon after a friend told me about how great the service was. Sadly, this was not the true. I made an appointment a couple of days in advanced, and when I came in for my appointment the stylist came in 20 minutes late. Once she finally took me back to wash my hair all she would not stop talking about was how hungover she was and how she lost her ID the night before and how angry she was that she wasn't going to be able to get drunk on New Years without it. The lighting and wall color in the salon was very strange and it made my naturally light blonde hair look almost like an orange color. The girl (Neyssa) then called me a "ginger" and made fun of my hair color even though it is not at all orange.



After about 30 minutes of listening to her complain, her friend walks in and asks for Neyssa to put on false eyelashes for a "hot date" she had that night in the middle of my appointment. After that, she took another break so she could order her lunch since she did not wake up early enough to eat breakfast. After over an hour of sitting in the chair she finally finished......my hair did not look any different. She did not do anything I asked her to my hair. It was barely half an inch shorter and there was still split ends in random patches. After she finished, she just walked away and didn't even walk me to the front desk. As I was signing the receipt she came over and stood over my shoulder while I filled out how much her tip was. Needless to say it was a very awkward moment.



This salon is tacky and unprofessional. The stylist are constantly yelling across the salon and they all share equipment so Lord knows if they clean them in between clients. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I love the friendly staff, the whole salon is great. The location couldn't be better for me. The service was wonderful and my hair looks amazing thanks to Neyssa. She is really a great hairstylist.

Im so happy with this salon i found the people here are sooo nice and they really care. . the place is beautiful so eligant and modern everyone is soo inviteing and non the less the prices are not crazy expensive the stylist i had was tristan and he was super sweet he listened and gave me exactly what i wanted he also did this new paul mitchell treatment on my hair and my hair has never felt this healthy and soft and has this shine thats unbeatable my hair befor was very dry befor and he does amazing shampoos !!! go see this place you wont be regret it !!!
