Edans Med Spa

While this place does good work the director of that clinic is just terrible, and has the most unprofessional attitude of anyone I have ever met. I had the cosmelan peel done and got good results, but my face also broke out in a mask of acne. The reason I got the peel in the first place was to get rid of acne scars. So I called them to explain what happened, I wanted antibiotics to cut back the acne so it did not scar. Normally I wouldn't take antibiotics for acne but after seeing such good results there was no way I was going to let my good results go to waste because of an outbreak. I went in there and the director was nothing but rude and demeaning and figured I had come to complain and accuse the spa of wrong doing. I wasn't there to complain I just wanted to stop the spread of acne before it caused me any damage. What's the point of paying all that money for the peel only to have a massive acne break out? It would have been for nothing. Disgusting attitude.

Take your money and run! Go anywhere but here !!!! If you got a Groupon see if you can get a return before your Botox service. First, I would like to say that I have gotten Botox before (3 other times--20 units, at different locations) and Botox has been wonderful and has always worked at paralyzing my forehead muscle to where I can no longer make the horizontal lines. I hardly have any wrinkles.....I do it more for the preventive aspect. I finally decided to get botox again in over a year and a half and bought a Groupon for this place. The first thing that concerned me when I first walked into the patient room was that Edan Finlayson (make sure you research her and do your background on her ---I think she had a weekend course on Botox) had me lay down flat on my back before injecting. I am sure you can inject clients while they lay down, but in my past 3 experiences , the injectors have always had me sitting up (due to the way your facial skin/muscles lay due to gravity) I didnt say anything, it just concerned me a little bit.....thought it may be a new technique or something :| . She injected me with what she said was 20 units of botox....at one point she was pricking me in random spots all over my forehead (normally there is a pattern)....that was another concern.....I started to become nervous. To make a long story short, it did nothing!!!!!!!!!! Edan is either an unexperienced injector, the botox expired or was watered down. ( she even said that other people use watered down botox, but her clinic doesnt.......according to her ) I wish I would have asked to see the product . As far as I know, it could have been some generic product/filler from across the border.....keeping her cost low) If you decide to get Botox at her location, I suggest you do your research. I would also like to add that I contacted her with my concerns.... I mentioned that I would like some kind of resolution or a refund. In addition, I sent her pictures of how my forehead looks .....she said " What you see is what you get with 20 units".....I even saved her text messages, where she said she would get lawyers if I post anything about her . She is very unprofessional if you are not pleased with your results and she does not care and POOF ! your money is gone with no results!!! Again,......do your research. The only reason I gave this place a 1 star is because I had to, and the young lady at the front desk seemed nice.

I came to Edan's Med Spa for consultation and treatment of my loose skin on my neck (turkey neck). I had seen a plastic surgeon to have it evaluated but Edans Spa was able to give me the same excellent results as the surgeon had promised without surgery and it was effective almost immediately. I am very satisfied with the results of the treatment and will go back for other work rather than have any surgery. They did an excellent job--I like it!

Edans Med Spa was a great experienced for me. I bought a Groupon for Botox and the great thing about Edans is that once you become a patient you are guaranteed the price of only $9.00 per unit for your next treatments. They also guarantee their Botox, if within 10 days after treatment there is still movement in the area treated , they will give you a touch up for free. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about aesthetics treatments. Amazing for such a little place they offer some of the most advanced aesthetic services, like the Vampire Facelift and the O Shot! I love Edans!!

Do NOT waste your money here. I have never paid so much for Botox before. I have had my physician administer my Botox in the past and he never came close to charging me what they did, and that included a groupon! It appears as though they are diluting their Botox in order to use more and therefore charge more! Not to mention...the staff was incredibly rude!!!! There are to many other great places in San Antonio to go!!

Edans med spa is GREAT! The staff is always so happy and professional. The Spa is very clean and they offer so many different services. My appointments are always on time and they spend quality time with you if you ever have a question about anything. I have never had a bad experience there and having been going to the spa at least once a month for the past 9 months. They also have a really cool referral program where if you refer someone there they give you a percentage of what that person spends. I have gotten so many friends to go and they all love it there too.I highly recommend Edans!

I would have never discovered Edan's Spa if I had not bought the Groupon. The staff is extremely friendly. The appointments ran on time which is unusual but very important to me because of my busy schedule. I was most impressed by Marta who administered my Botox. The way she does it is virtually painless. I used fewer units than I ever have in the past and got a better correction. I think that is a testament to Marta's ability to assess exactly where to place the shot and that she doesn't over dilute the Botox just to have to give more injections and charge more. Makes me wonder about being ripped off by doctors in the past. I had not had Botox in years because of finances. I am thrilled to have found Edan's spa where I can afford to indulge myself and "get the job done" without an enormous price tag. Thank you Groupon!!

I am a Registered Nurse and have been for 30 years. I bought a Groupon for Botox from this spa. They failed to note in the deal that appointments are only made on Friday and Sat. The staff was very unprofessional as a business and medical spa. I am very thankful that Groupon stands behind their reputation and refunded my money. Looking at the discussion board on their deal, the person answering questions doesn't even seem educated in regards to spelling. Things happen for a reason.....would never let this spa do anything to my body. The owner I assume said I was the kind of patient they were afraid to do anything to...... Doesn't surprise me. I'm the kind of person that would recognize incompetence in medical situations. Thanks Groupon.....I still love the deals I get!
