WORST MOVERS EVER!! THIEVES! STOLE $5,000!!!

I wish I could agree with everyone else, but … I had a very different experience ...

First off, we moved less than a mile away and moved everything but the big items ourselves ... they turned a 1 hour job into a 4 hour job. Way to just take our money.

Second, they scratched up EVERYTHING (new hardwood floors, wall, doors, wood furniture, etc.)!! Way to not know how to do your job.

Lastly, they STOLE a box of photography/videography equipment worth $5,000!! They nicely offered me a $50 credit in return for the stolen box. Ummm... 1) $50 is no where near $5,000. Good try. Go back to school. 2) Why would I ever use you again?!

They thought it was strange I waited to file a police report since I wanted to check the entire house before officially calling them thieves. I guess we're rude people for not jumping the gun on that. Oh, did I mention the video camera had our wedding and honeymoon on it. Hope the "lovely" team at Almighty Movers is enjoy our memories - perverts!

We should have known... the guys were super sketchy looking to begin with. Best of luck if you have these guys scheduled already. I highly recommend you try a different company. Worst. Movers. EVER.

We just moved to our new place with the Almighty Movers. I found out about them on Yellow Pages, and I thought someone else can do the same. They are professionals, their prices are reasonable, they can give you a flat rate (this is what I did), and they are very careful. They loaded the truck, drove to the new house, unloaded the truck in 5 hours. And we moved from a 3 bedroom house. They took everything to the room or place that we wanted them to. They were great. I will work with them if I ever have to move again. Thanks Almighty Movers!

We had a great experience with Almighty Movers. They had great communication, quick responding, showed up on time, and took extra care to make sure our belongings and house were taken care of properly without damaging anything. They are priced cheaper than other companies and did an excellent job loading, unloading, putting things in their places. We highly recommended using them!

This was by far the easiest move I have made. The guys were on time, professional, and very accomodating. It was pouring down rain and they took great care to protect my belongs. I highly recommened them!

Wow ......... I have moved many times in the past it was a complete night mare these guys from Almighty movers are really the very best you will find. They really work hard to please the customer they are so nice and nothing got damaged they really take pride in what they do. If you use them you well not be sorry.

I felt very good about leaving my home and taking care of things I need to do I really trust them I was shock at how fast they were when I got back home.

I plan on all future move will be with them .

Awesome is what I have to say about them.

Okay, I never write a review but felt I had to here. I am really hard to impress overall, I was leery about just opening yellowpages.com and picking a random mover, especially with all that could go wrong. When my scheduled mover blew me off yesterday, Saturday, I called Almighty Movers to see if they could help me out today, Sunday. They quoted me over the phone and scheduled me. The next morning they were clear in their communication with me as to when they would be arriving and when they were stuck in traffic, called to let me know. Two great guys showed up and introduced themselves. Very polite, very professional. Then they got to work. After about 20 minutes of watching I knew I didn't need to follow them around all day, they knew what they were doing and they did it. I just tried to stay out of their way. There was no goofing off or milking the clock or horsing around. They worked hard, they were careful and detailed about moving the larger items of furniture as well as the boxes of dishes and breakables. Wow, I am beyond impressed!My apartment was on the second floor, so stairs were the nemesis and I had a TON of boxes. I never heard complaining, I never heard a gripe, I never saw them bump walls or doors, they just did it.



This started out to be the move from hell, but Almighty Movers came through in a huge way with NO drama. Thank you SO much, I will refer you to anyone I know AND I will call you the first time when I need you again. You have my loyalty.

We received a call 3 days prior to their moving date, we informed them of our hourly rates for 2 or 3 guys. We did recommend 3 guys to make the job go by faster. Customer wanted to receive a flat rate so went out took an inventory of what would be moved and gave them a flat rate of $475.00 for a 3 bedroom house being moved from 1604 n Potranco to La vernia, which was over an hour drive each way.. We did not charge any other fees on top of what we agreed to, nor was a single item scratched or damaged. I was the packer on the job and the customer was looking at me pack the whole time. i used about 6 dozens of pads on his furniture. I do not feel this is a valid review at all, We ensured everything was where he wanted it when we were done. He asked if we could help him put the legs on a piece of furniture he had previously taken off, in which we did. As for us leaving items out in the rain, it was drizzling lighty in the beginning, but items were carried out of the house and straight into the truck... Well, we understand we are not going to satisfy every customer 100%, but we deifinately strive too.

I arranged for an estimate after speaking with these folks regarding hourly rates. The gentleman who came to our home, convinced my wife that the time to do the move would be much more cost effective by using the flat rate.

Although I spoke with the company about using two men they told my wife that it would require three. On moving day the truck was late, two of the three who arrived had moved people before; the third man (boy) could barely lift anything and didn't have a clue about moving. They acted like they were in a race and showed very little regard for our personal belongings, I had to ask, on more than one occassion, that they move my furniture back into the garage and out of the rain while they were waiting for the man doing the packing to clear enough room to continue loading. It was a struggle to convince them to use enough pads to adequately protect my wooden pieces of furniture. Again, they just didn't seem to have any respect or regard for my belongings. The job, had I paid by the hour, would have been less than the flat rate' even when you consider that they told me that they were goning to make a stop on the way so they could have breakfest. Requiring us to hire three people, one of whom was clueless, was nonsense. I feel this company did us a disservice by not being honest about the service and quality of personnel they would provide.

I would not recommend this company to anyone.
