Perhaps they are all volunteers? You will be lucky to get friendly service here. The children's play area is dirty. Their books are very outdated. Their service to visitors is terrible. You might have a good experience on occasion, but NEVER go there within an hour of closing. They will all openly despise your presence and will stare you down so they can leave promptly when the first bell of the Mission Inn chimes upon closing. I'm a working parent and it's happened every time, even though I never make anyone stay even a minute late!
