Ripon Primary and Urgent Care Center

Be warned!! I went to this office in February 2012. I had the flu for 4 days and needed some antibiotics. My doctor's office was closed so I made the terrible mistake of coming here. I was told they were "out of network" and my fee that day would be $150.00. I thought that was a lot of money (since every urgent care center in our area I have since called charges no more than $110). However, my husband paid this place $150.00 with our debit card. Then the office worker there hounded me for a photograph. I had been sick for 4 days, why would I want anyone to take my photo?!! She asked me for a photo no less than 4 times. All the while I politely said no. And I wasn't feeling well at all. I did see the physician's assistant for a few minutes then left. Approximately 2 months later I received a bill in the mail from this place for an additional $75.00. For what?!!! I paid my bill in full. I protested the bill over the phone, however, this place is relentless in pursuing this extra money. Is it because no one ever goes there? I sent them a certified letter disputing this bill I continue to get in the mail. Sometimes they bill me WEEKLY. It's pathetic. I had my daughter call them to see what they charge for an office visit and they replied $150.00. Why are they charging me $225.00?!!!! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!
