I don't live near here anymore, but still stop by whenever possible. Food excellent, and a lot. Don't like paying for the salads, etc. so don't. But dinners and sandwiches are well worth the price. I LOVE this place, and will continue to go to whenever possible. Not good they closed one in San Mateo though.

Provided by SuperpagesNeedless to say, we won't be coming back. We're not from the neighborhood, but saw a lot of cars parked on their lot, so we figured the place might be good. We even went out of our way to go back there after Fry's and man, were we sorely disappointed! We ordered a corned beef dinner (almost $11) and a turkey dinner and both were completely inedible. The servers were in the slightly rude side -- it felt very weird. The food was really bad too. So bad that I needed to use the toilet immediately afterwards, and take Immodium all day the next day.Btw, I had to do number one while at the restaurant, and their bathrooms were completely disgusting. Like call a plumber, toilets that don't flush with stuff in them disgusting. The bathroom stunk very badly too so you know the ick has been there for a long time. Ok, I'm about to get sick just having flashbacks of the whole thing. Needless to say, we won't be coming back.

When I eat at this restaurant, I feel like I've time traveled back to the late 1960's, early 1970's. Everything is so old-style, I think it's a good thing though! Tons of food for your money, and everything tastes good.
