Overall
Spent last night with my famil...

Spent last night with my family, celebrating my brother's birthday and simultaneously entertaining a cousin visiting from Korea. Redondo Beach Crab House has been a family tradition since I was a little girl. I've tried the other place a couple of times because my dad prefers this place. When I asked him why, he said this is for the quality seekers while the other place is good for middle class because it is a little cheaper but not as good. LOL, he went on to say Quality Seafood was for the bargain dinner seafood.

We ordered the lobster sashimi which was later fried once the sashimi portion was done, photos have been uploaded and available for you to check out. To satiate the sashimi craving, we ordered a medium platter of fresh sashimi which was comprised of tuna, salmon, red snapper, yellow tail and halibut. Perfectly timed and brought to the table was the fried lobster, I dipped it in the go choo jang mixed with wasabi... MmMmMm! Shortly after that, the dungeness crabs were served on a large tray. I grabbed the shell and mixed the gooey stuff with rice and go choo jang, this has become my favorite part about eating dungeness crab. Albeit a small quantity, it is a true delicacy. Went on to tear into the dungeness crab legs, dipping in the butter and go choo jang sauce. While tearing into the tray of dungeness crab, the seafood soup (mae woon tang) made its way to the table. I used the soup to wash down the rest of my food, just in time for a small dose of food coma.

Needless to say, my family and I enjoyed every minute of our dinner and my dad asked that we come again and then took off for a stroll around the pier. I of course opted to stroll over to the ice cream stand for a small order of dip in dots =)
