I had an important work related package that was supposed to be delivered (according to tracking information) on Saturday, April 21, 2018. I checked the online tracking status up until 9 pm. And of course I checked my mailbox several time throughout the day. Package was not delivered. I get up this morning (Sunday) and I read this: "As of April 21, 2018 at 10:18 pm, your package is still on its way. We apologize that it will arrive later than expected." Now, I will be leaving for several days of work today without some essential work supplies, thanks to this inept postal branch.
This is not the only ongoing problem with the Prattville, AL post office. There is no rhyme or reason behind their delivery schedule. One day, I might receive my mail at 11 am. The next day, I may receive my mail at 8 pm. I don't understand this; I have lived in many different places in my lifetime, and I have never seen a 10-12 hour delivery window. I have checked my mail after 9 pm and had nothing, then very early the next morning , there is mail in my box. How is that? Someone either can't or won't do there job? It's just insane. Pick a route and stick to it!

I had a decent time at this post office. I had to mail a package during the Christmas rush (Around noon, December 17th) and I feel like they handled the lines well considering how packed it was. The office was very clean and I like the way things were presented. The lady who assisted me in mailing my package was kind and knowledgeable.

I had my mail on hold for one week (I get a lot of mail due to having personal and business mail coming to my address), I go out to get it on the day the delivery of the held mail and current mail is to begin. The girl says, "Oh, I will bring it tomorrow" I tell her I really need it today, so is it ok if I just go pick it up from the post office. She says ok. I get to the post office and they bring me one piece of mail, then after telling them that cant be all of it, they bring me two more pieces. I have confirmation from UPS that they handed off mail to this post office 3 days ago. They have no idea where my mail is. NEITHER DO THEY!!

for one whole year I have sat ...

for one whole year I have sat off and on with POSTMASTER...head of local Greystone Post Office and STILL...service is unacceptable...here in Prattville, Alabama...USPS online says I was left a notice for package...YESTERDAY...BUT I met deliveries at front door YESTERDAY...and asked if this was ALL packages...TOLD..."YES". Last year lost a very EXPENSIVE delivey...I work at home-office. INEPT....and appear to

be liars...or a thief in the sorting room. No sign of package #9405909699937328504942.........best if "government" Post Offices FADE away.

NOT helpful

According to the tracker on my package it said that this post office deliverd it to my home and I have never recieved it. There has been to help from this post office in helping me find my package and they have refused to answer the phone for days. I would not reccommend using this post office.
