We are beyond thrilled with the customer service and workmanship. J Browns took a family ring and reworked it to create my engagement ring. The ring looks more beautiful than I could have imagined and is perfect in every way!

Overall

My family has been going to J Brown Jewelers for many years now, and we had another excellent experience today. My parents and I were looking to replace a watch of mine that had been stolen, and Joyce was very helpful. She was knowledgeable about all the watches and encouraged us to take our time selecting one -- helping us try on various models and pointing out similarities and differences.

I will NEVER go back to this place. I took my brand new (as of the night before) engagement ring to be resized. The woman who was "helping" me asked where the ring was from. I told her I didn't know since my fiance purchased it. She brought over an expert jeweler and told me point blank "We don't deal with fake rings. You will have to take your business elsewhere." I asked her what she meant and she said "these are not diamonds. We have only work with REAL diamonds" I explained to her that I knew the stones weren't diamonds (they are moissanite) but all I needed was it to be resized. She turned her back and walked away. I walked out and sat in the parking lot crying. What a hateful, evil woman. Silly me for thinking that a business actually wants to curry good favor with possible clients. I will be taking my business and "fake ring" elsewhere, please do the same

You would think that when you�fd.

You would think that when you’re dropping thousands on an engagement ring, you’d get pretty excellent customer service. Not at J. Brown!! My fiancé bought my ring there and the salesman failed to point out that there was a very visible natural inclusion (think large black dot that I could see with the naked eye holding my hand two feet from my face). Now, my fiancé did feel bad that he didn’t notice it when he bought it, but like I told him, any salesman who wants a happy/repeat customer would have made sure he was explicitly aware of the very visible black dot in the middle of their engagement ring! I noticed it pretty quickly (the very next morning) so we brought it in first chance we could (within a week). The salesman cleaned it for us, brought it back with the spot still there and said, “So I guess you want another diamond?” It seemed to me that this guy saw this as an opportunity to squeeze more money out of us because he brought out a nicer diamond and wanted $500 more for it! He also dismissed my concern that the two baguettes on the sides looked like they were different sizes until my fiance pointed out that maybe it appeared that way because they were not mounted evenly, which the salesman then agreed with and said he'd get it fixed. Bottom line: FROM MY EXPERIENCE not only does this place have horrendous customer service, some of its products are inferior too. Not ONCE did this guy utter the words, “I’m sorry,” and he even seemed annoyed with us!
