Dixie Darling Needlework

I visited this shop June 25th and found the proprietor very amicable and helpful. She had many kits (the most I have seen in any shop) and her fabric is laid out within easy reach. The majority of her inventory is traditional with lots of samplers and Quaker themes. The shop is roomy and brightly lit, and comfortable with a table and chairs. She offers a stitching group on Thursdays, which meets at 5:30 pm. She has also started designing and showed me one of the samplers she has designed. I would recommend a visit just to check it out. She had a kit for a Smoky Mountain design that I purchased.
