Ritz Diner

I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Ritz Diner on 7-2-2018. I was met by the pleasant Hostess and taken to a booth as requested. My first impression of the establishment was how wonderfully clean everything was. Also how fresh all the food looked.
When I got to my table that also sparkled. Everybody working the shift I dined seemed to be focused on the patrons. It seemed they was really concerned that everything was to the customers satisfaction.
As I was going over my selection for dinner I was met at my table by my server / waitress. She introduced herself as Kaitlyn. A very pleasant young lady with a bright smile.
I ordered the chopped steak with coleslaw and French fries. That comes with the salad bar. The salad bar showed very well. It was extremely clean with no dropped food on the bar itself. The items was all very fresh. The salad bar selection is limited with a small variety of pasta, lettuce, bean salad, grape leaves, cheese and a nice selection of dressings. Yet still enough selection to build a nice dinner salad to go with my meal.
I have a pet peeve when I dine out. That being I do not enjoy my entre arriving while I'm having my salad. At the Ritz Diner that did not happen. When I finished my salad Kaitlyn arrived two to three minutes later with my Chopped Steak , Fries and Coleslaw.

The fries and the steak was piping hot and the flavor second to none. The coleslaw was fresh an crunchy with an abundance of flavor.
My drink did not run dry but I was still offered refills without having to ask.

Another thing that bothers me is when my check is placed on my table before I finish my food. Kaitlyn did not do that. She waited until I was finished and asked if I wished anything else. I declined her offer and she returned a couple minutes later . She thanked me for coming and wished me well.

I looked at my check to find out I got five star food and service for under $16.00. I went to pay the bill and the cashier also was very pleasant and wanted to be sure I enjoyed my dinner. I assured her I had.

I left and I was full, I was content with everything the Diner offered. The people operating the establishment was kind and thoughtful. What more could a customer ask for. I recommend The Ritz Diner with five well earned stars. Yes I will return soon.
