Peoria Secondhand

I found this "Treasure" tucked back in a corner of a vacant lot..big yellow sign that said "Peoria second hand".
Once I was inside...wow...all the beautiful pieces of furniture..pictures...wood pieces....vintage...retro items.....LOVED all that was there....items for people that appreciate guality...well made items. Its worth the trip. Terri and Russ are friendly and helpful....going back soon!

First of all, we are really customers, not relatives. Second, GET IN THERE! In the past month we have gone 5 times, each time finding multiple items for our home. There is no garbage, damaged or smelly old furniture, only well cared for, vintage, fascinating, often one of a kind items. So far we have bought an entertainment center, one of a kind welded horseshoe bench, large stand alone butcher block, large old oak storage chest, a 1950's privacy screen TO DIE FOR, a Lane end table, not to mention all of the other things we have left behind but lusted after. Gary, Rodger and Martha are the nicest people you will ever meet and will do everything to help you find what you are looking for, make you a great deal, then help you get it home if you can't. We always look forward to going there as his inventory is constantly changing, since his prices are ridiculously LOW! I don't write these reviews often, but I feel in this case they deserve a good word. Take your time or you might miss a real treasure. David & Judy S.

nment Store. After exploring dozens of consignment, new, and used furniture stores, I feel qualified to rate them. This family run shop has many treasures and consistently lower prices than any I have found. They provide great service too, all in a warm and welcoming manner/environment. They don't sell to you or at you. They are there to help, but aren't salesy. It's refreshing and appreciated.

A lil' touch of homespun fun, interesting items such as furniture and odds and ends in excellent shape. The staff (like Nana) are so kind and very accomodating as you walk in the door. Great prices and negotiable! What is the best part you feel as though you are around great friends! Might not have something I need or want every time but the conversation and great feeling you leave with is the BEST!
