Overall
capps medical

it was ok at first til i graduated.i moved to texas after grad. nobody would hire me based on experience.you wont havew much 2 wks is not enough. they promise you a job in the industry.....(hahahahahaha) you dont get a job all you get is a bill and a garnish of wages on what little you do make, in some cases it's below minimum wage. But they dont care all they care about is how many people they can get in the school your just a dollar sign to them the more they can get the more they get a kick back from the goverment, they are not accredited as they say they are, your transscript is not yours and non transferable, they will not transfer no matter what .so be aware go to a state university, where you know it will be accredited. the worst mistake i made was going to this school.....i know of several people who went htere and are in the same boat im in...going after your money dont matter if you have a family to feed or that your are at poverty level....the rich get richer the por get poorer. some school irate it below the star dont go to this schoolbeaware beaware

Be your own judge

I am in my last 5 weeks of class at "Capps," which is now called Fortis Institute. There were a lot of problems with the computer system, but there are 2 rooms full of brand new computers there now - because the staff listens to their student's complaints and will do what they can to get you what you need to get through the program - and get a job. They truly believe that if a student fails it is because they failed at their job. Go to PJC and see if your instructors care if you come to class or let you file an appeal to retake a class - free of charge - if you fail it. So for the girl who says that 50 students' tuition adds up to 50,000 dollars - you would have failed anywhere you went. For anyone looking for a good college - and you don't mind paying extra for quality assurance - take a look at Capps and compare it to other schools and be your own judge. Yea, I have some complaints about the school (they are unorganized) but overall, I think that no other 10 month prgram in this area compares to what you get out of Capps. Just know that how much effort you put into your education determines what you will get out of it.

Overall
very bad school

Capps is a very unorganized school. I thought it would be a great school to go to, but I was very wrong... if you are interested in getting a degree in the medical field I would highly avise you to do more research before going with Capps. the instuctors say that they are there for you, but they just what their money. they always give you a test early even if your not ready. the computers need to be fixed, but they say that the school don't have the money! in one day the school had 50 people sign up. do the math that is 50,000 dollars right there and thats not even including night school! and this is not even the half! I would talk to more people from Capps before signing up.
