Lindsay Maggio, MD, MPH, is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as in maternal-fetal medicine. She joined AdventHealth Medical Group from the University of South Florida College of Medicine, where she was an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology. Prior to that, she completed a three-year fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University/Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, where she was the recipient of multiple teaching awards and was honored for best research paper presented by a Fellow during the annual meeting of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Maggio's work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals, and she has been an invited presenter in multiple medical forums. She is proficient in English and Spanish. Awards & Recognition Dr. Maggio has won an award at an international meeting for her research. She has also won numerous teaching awards throughout her career. Â She has won an award from a prestigious journal in her field for being a peer reviewer. Differentiator Dr. Maggio has a great ability to take a complicated problem and explain it in easy-to-understand terms.
