Within the last year I developed a severe earache. I was given antibiotics for a possible ear infection. The problem persisted. I was then tested for a possible endodontic problem, but the results were negative. It was at t his time that I was referred to Dr. Lau and found to have TMJ. I was first treated with an orthosis which opened up my bite and this led to a crown and bridge which were designed to keep my bite open. I have since been without an earache. My headaches have all but disappeared.
