Barber Master of Arts in Teaching - MAT Texas Certification: Special Education - EC-12 Business Education - 6-12 My professional career has gifted me with the ability to work with students that have a variety of disabilities. I believe in teaching the whole student; not just addressing their educational needs. This approach has proved successful and allows me to individualize curriculum on a much deeper level. I have a son with Aspergers and he struggled with finding other students he could relate to. This motivated me to give other high functioning students a learning environment where they can make friends and realize their full potential.
