Rancho Corrido RV Park

Besides how nice the people are in the store and the great management team, I was so impressed by the fact that they had night security which made me feel safe and at home. I saw the security patrol at least 4 times through the evening, the kind gentlemen even waved to me. Even though, I was only there for a weekend, I would come back just because of the safe environment.

If I told my best friend about this place, I'd say stay away! .. One of the few positive things I can say regarding the place is the valley this campground is located in is nice. The place is very poorly managed. Repairs can take months to complete. And they care little to the renters who live there. Overall I would tell my best friend to keep driving, don't stop!

Just got back from Rancho Corrido, and the experience was not a positive one. Approximately two weeks prior, we called and made a reservation for their $80/night cabin. We requested a cabin next to our friends who also made a reservation ahead of us. We were told that each cabin has a pullout sofa and a microwave oven. Fast forward to the day of camping, we got a cabin far from our friends and you guessed it, no pullout sofa nor microwave oven. When checking out the following day, I told the cashier about our experience, she told me that she gave the cabin that we have reserved to somebody else, and we should have complained to her about the absence of the sofa and microwave. Let me just say that after 2.5 hours of driving, we were just glad to be off the road so we did not check the room thoroughly. It was only after 30 minutes later that we realize this is not what was agreed upon and their office was already closed (4 pm). Our friends slept on the wooden floor and we have to go to another cabin to warm up our food. Delivering what was promised or honoring an agreement is a foreign concept to the staff at this campground. This place used to be a nice place to go to. Now, they have permanent residents there which kind of ruin the ambiance.

Average spot.... Clean swimming pool....the overall grounds are fairly maintained. Lots of flexibility on provisions. Daily rates, monthly rates....New management. Cute mobile cabin rentals... Some very trashy Rv setups for people who don`t know how to live decently. These eyesores need to be cleaned up. Great opportunities for improvement. Resort potiential.. mostly empty. Not much to do... Okay for a quiet weedend. Some set ups arranged for survival living. July 2010.
