Was seen on 10/11/20 Excellent and fast service. Dr.J Conlin treated my pomeranian for severe allergies. Total cost was a little more, but well worth it .Also confirmed my dog has "collapsed trachea", which my other dog has also.Staff helpful and friendly

The Morgan County (Ohio) Humane Society, SPOT, has made many visits to A-Vet where our pets are always treated with respect and helped with whatever they need medically. We recommend A-Vet to everyone.

My dog started having seizures. They took him in, stabilized him, did some blood tests, gave him seizure medicine and he is fine. They were very good, very professional at the Emergency Vet Hospital.

I was referred to this clinic by my regular vet due to my dog being extremely sick during the middle of the night. The clinic will not even see your animal until you pay a $75 "emergency fee". Then you must pay for all procedures BEFORE they are done. So if they take xrays, you must pay for that even though they may find nothing wrong with the xrays. They take cash or credit only. No personal checks or debit cards. They will not send you a bill, you must pay in full. Even if it's 3am with no access to cash until regular business hours. This clinic cares more about getting paid than helping sick animals. I guess they believe that "they hold all the marbles" when it comes to the life or death of your pet.

On October 12, 2008 out of good faith I took my Springer Spaniel, Jack, to be uthenized and cremated. For two months we called continuously to see when we could pick Jack up. The response we were getting from the Animal Veterinary Emgerncy Treatment was, "We will call you when he's ready." On December 29, 2008 after no call from the Vet we took the initiative to call them once again. The response this time, "We can't find him." After almost three months of waiting to bring our dog home we knew that it wasn't going to happen. They were very sympathetic about the situation, offering to refund our money, and very understanding; never once raising their voice with frustration. Their service to us on October 12th was much appreciated, but in the end we didn't have a dog to bring home.
