Forrest Motors

At first, Forrest Motors was great. They fixed little maintenance things that we wanted on the inside of the van we purchased. The trouble started about a week after we bought the van (4 days after their 3 day return rule). When we filled the gas tank up, it wouldn't take gas. The hose would click off indicating a full tank after just a couple of gallons. The check engine light came on and it was a transmission code. We did a fluid exchange and had a mechanic clean around the transmission and that seemed to take care of that problem. Then the check engine light came on again. This time it was a catalytic converter code. We took it in and we were told that it needs a new one which is $1000. All those things happened within the first month of having the van. Then the DVD player started having issues reading a disc but won't eject it either. Next, we took the van to get new brake pads because the van had been shaking when we would brake. They told us that the front brake pads, rotors and calipers needed to be replaced. A few months later the engine started overheating and the a/c was blowing hot. So we took the van in again and it needed a new radiator. We've spent $2300 on repairs. At the time we purchased the van we didn't buy a warranty. I don't regret that decision as much as I regret buying the van from Forrest Motors in the first place.

I recently bought a Honda Accord from Forrest Motors. They are great guys low pressure you can tell they really care about what they do. My whole time working with them I felt like they really cared about my situation and where very personable. I WILL BE buying from them again.

Makes many promises before the sale. Doesn't honor them once they have your money. Make sure you do an inspection prior to buying. Buyer beware.

This place was recommended to us from a friend, and we were really excited to work with them. Impressed with the car, until we went to our bank to check the value. It was listed at 1500 above highbook value, and they wanted to sell it to us out the door for 3000 above. When we offered highbook value they laughed at us. They were very rude and wouldn't budge on the price at all indicated they would find someone who had no idea the van was way overpriced. I feel bad for whoever paid 3000 more than that car was worth. DIshonest and stubborn and they obviously don't value their customers, especially one sent from a friend.

The service was excellent and personnel were very helpful but went to finish the paperwork at the time of purchase.

Great car buying experience. I was never pressured to buy nor did I feel limited to my options.
