Originally known as Olympia Building and Loan Association, Olympia Federal Savings was founded in 1906. Olympia was created on the philosophy of promoting home ownership and thrift, while maintaining ties to the community. Its business practices have enabled the mutually owned savings and loan association to grow to meet the increasing needs of its customers. The institution has six branch located in Thurston and Mason counties, Wash. With combined assets of more than $404 million as of March 2005, Olympia Federal Savings mission is to provide personalized competitive financial services that will exceed its customers' expectations.
