The Shack In the Back

This place ripped me off $129.75. I had a tab going and at the end of the night I signed off on my tab which was only $14.25 plus tip. The next day I noticed an additional charge on my account in the amount of $129.75 from shack in the back. I called up there and explained what happen and I was told they would look into it. When they got back to me about it they told me they had a signed copy of the ticket in the amount of $129.75. I asked to see the signed copy and it was sent to me but the signature was not mine and the hand writing for the tip and total weren't my hand writing either. When explained this to them I was told all I could do was dispute it with my bank. The ticket had the name Eric P. on it as the person who ran the transaction. This person works there behind the bar and got me for $129.75. I guess this is the type of employs this place hires and allows customers to get ripped off. Very disappointing, big thumbs down!

Out of all the venues in the area that my fiancé and I had in mind for our perfect day. By far this is the Best there is in the Midland/ Odessa area. The views are magnificent, the wonderful employees who go beyond fantastic customer service. If I had to do it all over again, with out a doubt this will be the place for a dream out door wedding, hands down. If your looking for a intimate outdoor event. This is your place to do it. There is no comparison, the owner is the sweetest person to deal with. Her assistant is amazing. He goes beyond his duties and extremely accommodating. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding or any special event.
