Pewter Village at Collingswood

i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended becauseMy Grandmother has lived at Pewter Village for 12 years and the person who has been doing inside mantainence for the last year or so has been nice and always acomidating BUT he has now left for better money and the person before him was nasty, so I guess when an issue comes up we shall see. He seems to be nice as of yet. As far as Landscaping goes not so great, I believe the center of the complex gets the best work. When you come to look at the apartments watch the gardens as you walk in and towards the office, you will notice that there are hundreds of weeds. Anyone who has been a Homeowner knows that you are not suppose to have plants growing at the edge of the walls let alone Ivy creaping up the walls. The reason for this is drainage and outdoor pests that head indoor I think the management has never had the oportunity to own a home or a nice home because she seems to think it is nice looking when this is going on and also has no clue of the reasons for stopping this, to which I said google it. Well it could be that she does not live in one of the front propertiese, therfore does not care. origanally all Ivy was kept at least one foot in front of the bushes against the wall and I have been asking for at least 2 yrs for them to stop the growth from getting to the wall. I asked for it to be removed before it made it to the bush, I asked when it made it to the edge of the bush which would have been a simple fix if not ignored. I have asked and asked now it has killed the bush out of the front door and is growing to the windows, walkway and now towards the door. I finally saw one of the men from the owners and confronted him about the unkempt garden areas he said he would see about it but when the office was called to see when the landscapers would be around I was rudely told that she does not keep track of when they come and also was told that she thinks its nice as earlier stated. I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE COULD BE SAID AT THIS POINT.

Real exciting place for the single senior!! Folks wander in and out of YOUR flat like a revolving door! Clothing seems to be optional with some of the folks, but thats what makes it cool. Some funky odors drift around like deep fried brussle sprouts and pune juice. If you drive, your friends will be lined up when you go out.(remind them clothes are NOT optional when going into town) Pharmacy is close by to grab your viagra, and believe me you'll need it. These gals will wear you out here. At least a 4 to 1 ratio! Rock on at the Village! We're like the new Village People!

Fun place to meet new people. Especially if you don't lock your doors. Neighbors are great, if you don't mind finding them in YOUR bathroom sans clothing. The smells of home cooking abound, like Stewed prunes & limberger cheese. Have a nice car? You won't for long. Wild life abounds, if you count the insect families. Mailboxes lock, and for a good reason.
