Arvest Bank

I opened up an account and ordered the standard checks and debit card. My debit card arrived within a good amount of time, but my checks were delayed. After about a month of waiting and closely monitoring my account, I decided to close it and try it again. Well this time my checks came but my new debit card did not. I just decided to cancel the card and reorder. (Are you confused? So was I.) I waited about a week and went in because I had not been contacted and was getting pretty mad. The woman looked in the log book and said that my card had not come in. I asked if she could look just in case it hadn't been logged in. She told us that everything that comes in the mail gets logged in the book. We went in another week later and they had said that my number hadn't been updated (Even though I changed it when I opened my second account. I'm guessing they copied and pasted or something to that extent.) and that my card had come in ten days earlier but no one had logged it in. I had to carry cash around for almost two months before I could make regular deposits because I didn't know if I'd have to shut the account down and I didn't want to have to worry about it. I only had a problem with they one woman who insisted that EVERYTHING that came through there was logged in the book. The associate I dealt with most was apologetic and very helpful, but it didn't make up for all the trouble it caused. I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone.
