I took a Dryer in for repair and paid around $250. They replaced the thermal fuse and belt and lubed a stuck wheel, and said that should do it. 2 weeks later the dryer stops working again and if they had to come out to service the dryer that there would be a $75 service fee for them coming out to look at it so I take it back and the replaced the thermal fuse again. After about 20 minutes they called and said that they replaced the part and it should be fine. Apparently they didn't actually turn on the dryer and let it run for any amount of time to actually see that the problem was actually the dryer and not a clogged dryer vent. They said make sure the vent run is cleaned out and run it on air dry no heat, so I took it home and started the dryer on air dry no heat and didn't hook it up to the vent run. I come back to the dryer after 5 - 10 minutes and the dryer is so hot that it is untouchable. Needless to say I had to go out and purchase a new dryer after wasting $250 for them to tell me after using the dryer for 6 years that I don't know how to use a dryer. The new dryer runs fine and while running on hi heat this dryer is touchable and doesn't feel like it's running sometime but the clothes come out dry.
