Sage Motel

What a great experience!!! Was in Newcastle for a all class reunion and I stayed at the Sage Motel, wile others classmates where staying at the Newcastle Lodge; after showing off my room, and invoice some of my classmates quickly changed there reservations to the Sage Motel until the place was full . The owners are very young Chloé only being 22 and husband whom is a Navy Vet has worked magic on the rooms; on top of managing the motel they both work full time jobs, and laugh at working 14 hour days 7 days a week; Chloé and Wes are True American capitalist provide jobs and services many can not compete, job well done and keep up the good work.

This motel in real life is not as clean and neat outside as pictured in any ad we saw. After terrible first night stay, discovered that owners and their friends had made fake reviews on other sites to raise scores for their motel that we used to decide. So, here's a REAL review. Rooms are average to poor. They had a table with junk on it outside our window, A/C is noisy, rooms don't have inside-only deadbolt or chain (anyone can come in any time with a key), hair dryer didn't work because GFI wouldn't reset (with or without bathroom light on) and management customer service is terrible. Manager (actually apparent head of LLC that owns Sage Motel) refused to own any of the problems and when he finally called to follow up a week after we requested the refund for the early departure he wouldn't refund the second night because we were leaving early without 24 hours notice. We would have stayed if the prior night experience was close to acceptable. My advice: do NOT stay here. We moved to the Fountain Inn which was still a little old, but rooms and customer service was WAY better, and they give you dinner and drink discount coupons for their on-site restaurant. If you're reading this after 2017 they're building a brand new hotel (not motel) down the street by the Shopko and you might want to check that out.

Great little motel for the area. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfy. I enjoyed having fresh hot coffee in the morning that is offered in the breakfast area. Service was very nice and helpful. Only con was the soda machine ate my quarters but the front desk opened it up for me and got me a soda. I would recommend staying here if ever in the area.

Traveling around Wyoming for the summer and stayed at the Sage for two nights. If your looking for a small motel thats nice, quiet, VERY clean, and has amazing staff this is the place to go! From when I made my reservation on the phone the staff that was working that night was so nice to me and willing to let me arrive past hours, upon arrival they were so friendly and helpful which is harder and harder to find now a day!

The room was cleaner than most places I stayed and I know if I had any problems (which I didn't) I could go to the staff and they would help.
I had called around and this was the only place that had a breakfast room and it was just the cutest thing!
I highly recommend anyone to stay here and will defiantly be back!!
